Hosting & Maintenance
Ehaus own a large and ever increasing number of high powered servers, on which all the web sites we run are hosted. These servers live behind tight security in a co-location facility in Docklands, London, UK. Any web site hosted by Ehaus will benefit from the following service features:
Your web site will be as close as possible to the UK backbone of the internet, allowing fast connection and the option of dedicated bandwidth.
The servers will be monitored day and night to ensure they are always available.
In the event of any hardware failure, our failover device will redirect visitors to a mirrored version of your web site.
Your web site will be protected by an industrial strength firewall to prevent hackers gaining entry to our network and causing damage.
Maintenance of your web site will usually involve the following tasks:
- Loading of a dedicated or shared database, either daily or weekly.
- Maintenance and support for all content management software.
- Protecting your web site from attack by applying all security patches and virus software on our network.
- Production of monthly site statistics.
- Office hours support for all issues relating to the operation of your web site.
Note: Service Level Agreements, which offer different levels of support and maintenance, are available by arrangement.
